Your survey information stays under your control.

Inukollu Tech ("we", "us", or "our"), an Indian micro enterprise, provides the Piping Planner Android application and is responsible for the data practices described in this policy.

Information handled by the app

Piping Planner stores work orders, customer and site details entered into the app, route segments, measurements, material estimates, survey status and reference photos in app-private storage on the Android device. The current version has no developer-operated backend, cloud synchronisation, advertising SDK or analytics service, and does not transmit this survey information to us.

Camera, photos, Bluetooth and AR

The app can use the camera for a live survey view, local reference photos and AR-assisted measurement. It can use Bluetooth to discover and connect to supported Leica DISTO measuring devices and receive measurements. On Android 11 and earlier, Android may require location permission for Bluetooth Low Energy scanning; Piping Planner does not obtain or retain the device's location. ARCore may process camera and motion information on compatible devices to calculate on-device measurement estimates.

Camera frames, selected or captured photos, Bluetooth device information, measurements and AR results are processed locally for these features. The current app does not upload them to us.

Subscriptions and Google Play

Piping Planner uses Google Play Billing for subscriptions. Google Play processes payment details under Google's privacy terms. The app receives subscription product and purchase-state information, including a purchase token, to start purchases, determine access, restore purchases and acknowledge completed purchases. We do not receive full payment-card details.

For the initial client-only testing release, purchase information is checked through Google Play on the device. A future backend may securely verify purchase tokens with Google Play; this policy will be updated before that processing begins.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. The current app does not send survey records or photos to us or other third parties. Google independently processes information required to operate Google Play, Play Billing and ARCore under Google's terms and privacy policy.

Storage, retention and deletion

Survey data and photos remain in app-private storage until changed or deleted in the app, the app's storage is cleared in Android settings, or the app is uninstalled. Android backup is disabled for Piping Planner. Google retains subscription transaction records according to its policies and applicable law.

Piping Planner does not create a developer-operated user account. To delete local app data, use Android Settings > Apps > Piping Planner > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app.

Security

We limit app data to app-private device storage and use Google Play's protected billing flow. No method of storage is completely secure. Protect access to the Android device and avoid entering information that is not needed for a survey.

Children's privacy

Piping Planner is a professional field-survey tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app's features or data practices change. We will publish the revised policy at this URL and update its effective date.
